As a result of the recent, devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan, and in honor of the more than 200 Japanese companies and the many Japanese-American communities we serve, Vectren has committed to provide $75,000 in relief efforts. $50,000 will go directly to the Japan Earthquake Relief Fund established by the Japan-American Society of Indiana (JASI). Additionally, Vectren has developed an employee contribution program, matching up to $25,000 from its 4,000 employees.
If you would like to make an individual contribution, included below are four of the many trusted agencies currently established to help aid in relief efforts. It is my hope that together we can show our dedication and appreciation for the contribution that Japanese-led businesses and Japanese-American citizens make to our region.
Sincerely,

Carl L. Chapman
Vectren President & CEO
